The Organizing Committee for the 2027 European Congress for Clinical Neurophysiology (OC-ECCN 2027) is delighted to welcome you to the abstract submission portal.

Our theme, "Neurophysiology: From Neuronal Circuits to Clinical Practice," reflects our ambition to bridge basic science and clinical application. By linking insights from neuronal circuits to diagnostic and therapeutic strategies, we aim to demonstrate how advances in neurophysiology translate into improved patient care.

Congress Description

The 2027 European Congress of Clinical Neurophysiology (ECCN 2027) will feature educational courses, workshops and symposia. In the pre-Congress day, Teaching Courses will cover fundamental education and updates in clinical neurophysiology of the central and peripheral nervous system, including workshops and hands-on-courses. In the three-day Congress, Plenary Lectures and Symposia will deal with advances in scientific research and diagnostic and therapeutic applications of clinical neurophysiology.

Presentations at ECCN 2027 will be given by leading experts in the field, providing value and expertise for healthcare professionals who utilize clinical neurophysiology. Poster presentations at the Congress highlight the latest work conducted in clinical neurophysiology centers around the world (Abstract submissions will open May 2027). The ECCN 2027 will be an in-person event; live-streaming and virtual attendance will not be available.

Ready to get involved with ECCN 2027?

Please review the following key notes before submitting your symposium and/or teaching course proposal:
• The basic characteristics of all proposals are three presentations of 30 min each to cover slots of 90 min. Proposers may consider occupying more than one slot if deemed necessary. Proposals prepared with a different structure will only be evaluated if they are accompanied by clear justification and pertinence. 
• Applicants may submit more than one proposal.
• Congress Topics: The proposals must be allocated to a specific topic. You will need to select the topic most suited to your submission from the list provided.
• Submission of a proposal does NOT guarantee acceptance.
• All proposals will be evaluated and scored by the Scientific Advisory Board after the submission deadline. 
• The OC-ECCN 2027 will be responsible for the final decision on acceptance/rejection of all proposals. Proposers may be asked to adapt their proposal including changes in speakers or topic titles if deemed appropriate to fit the final program. 
• The proposer and chair of the session should be one of the three speakers. The proposer should have the permission of every co-speaker in their session prior to submission. 
• Affiliation and contact information of each speaker should be included in the proposal.
• A brief description of the session (max 100 words) is required for evaluation.
• There should be no signs of commercial bias in the proposals.

HOW TO SUBMIT

• Proposals must be submitted via the platform: https://event.fourwaves.com/eccn2027/pages only. Only proposals submitted via the online submission form will be sent for review and evaluation. 
• Proposals must be submitted in English only.
• Please do not submit multiple copies of the same proposal.
• Accepted Teaching Courses will be presented on Tuesday, October 19, 2027.
• Accepted Symposia proposals will be presented between Wednesday, October 20 and Friday, October 22, 2027, in-person, in Málaga. 
• Disclosure of Conflicts of Interest: Proposers will be requested to acknowledge funding sources of commercial nature and/or consulting or holding of significant equity in a company. 
• Sessions that include speakers that are owners or employees of an entity of defined commercial interests will not be permitted to plan or present Continuing Medical Education content.
• Once you have submitted your proposal, we will save it in our proposal submission system software. You will be able to log in to edit your proposal until the portal closes in October 2026.

SPEAKER HONORARIUM

Invited speakers will receive complimentary registration to attend the ECCN 2027. Travel reimbursement will not be provided.
