Invitation

On behalf of the Organising Committee of the 20th European Congress for Clinical Neurophysiology (ECCN), we are delighted to invite you to the charming city of Málaga, Spain, in October 2027.

The Spanish Society of Clinical Neurophysiology (SENFC) and the Spanish Society of Neurological Electrodiagnosis (SELECNE), in collaboration with the European, Middle East and Africa Chapter (EMEAC) of the International Federation of Clinical Neurophysiology (IFCN), will host ECCN 2027 in Málaga. As a dynamic cultural and technological hub—and one of Europe’s most attractive destinations—Málaga provides a vibrant and inspiring setting for the congress.

Our theme, "Neurophysiology: From Neuronal Circuits to Clinical Practice," reflects our ambition to bridge basic science and clinical application. By linking insights from neuronal circuits to diagnostic and therapeutic strategies, we aim to demonstrate how advances in neurophysiology translate into improved patient care.

The programme will span the full spectrum of clinical neurophysiology, from experimental research, animal models, and computational modelling to clinical trials, as well as the design of learning systems and robotics. We will highlight recent developments in the field and provide opportunities for young scientists and clinicians to present their work through oral and poster sessions.

ECCN 2027 will offer a high-quality scientific programme, serving as a platform for leading experts, researchers, clinicians, and industry professionals to exchange knowledge and advance the understanding and practice of clinical neurophysiology.
